Happy Fall Friends & Family!
Bright
orange pumpkins, shiny red apples, & colorful Autumn leaves are those first
signs that Autumn has arrived! I hope everyone had a great summer! We were
plenty busy with our added responsibility of our greenhouse with over 4000
plants that all needed transplanted. We are very proud that we were able to
save that many! We planted an enormous garden this year because I went
overboard in the greenhouse with my vegetable seedlings. It had been so long
since I had a garden that I had forgotten just how much some plants can
produce. We were over whelmed at times, but you just can't beat vegetables
straight out of the garden. There was definitely a lot of different zucchini
dishes, one can really get creative. I planted pumpkins and Jack- Be-Little
miniature pumpkins that are doing quite well, so I have a head start on my
Fall decor! One of our favorite things to do, during fall is hopping in the
car & going around to the different pumpkin patches! We make a day of it and
have lunch at one of them or a local restaurant! We will also stop off at a
farmers market or the apple orchards when they have events going on. It's such
a great way to get that "family time" in on a Saturday or Sunday! My favorite
part is all the handmade Fall decor. I'm always adding to my collection and
every year it is just one more cherished memory that I can look back on.
One
of the most exciting events of the year for us, our daughter's wedding and the
birth of their first child. Our Grandson was born March 6th at 7:25 PM and was
named Tyler David Roberts. He weighed 9.1 pounds & was 20" long. The kids
truly were blessed with a beautiful baby. He has already developed the most
adorable personality. If you walk up to him and say hello, he will give you
the most adorable little smile and then turn his head and hide his face in his
mother's shoulder.
We were also honored this Fall when we received a call from Ladies' Home
Journal who had taken notice of our website and asked to feature some of our
products in an upcoming Spring issue of their magazine.
Halloween
Halloween is one of my all time favorite holidays, last year we went to a
great costume party, I was a Midnight Fairy & Nathan was a Wizard. We knew
that the party was out in the country but it was at night and we were lost,
surrounded by endless forests of fir trees and gravel roads. The further we
traveled the worse it got. It then started raining and an hour later we
finally arrived. What I didn't know was where we parked I had to walk up a mud
hill in high heels! It was definitely a night to remember! I added some
pictures of us dressed up for your enjoyment! We have added some new Fall
products to our site! Be sure to check out our
Vintage Halloween Tray,
Halloween Pumpkin Wreath or our
Autumn Leaf Dishes! We have started carrying a new candle set that is
great for the fall season and gives off that a golden glow and that would be
our
Amber Glass Votive Holders With Gold Stands.

Thanksgiving
This
Thanksgiving we will be trying something new and that is cooking our turkey in
one of those turkey deep fryers, we always purchase a fresh one and usually
rotisserie it. We received one last year as a Christmas gift and are looking
forward to trying it out. Thanksgiving is just one of those special days to
step back and give thanks for all those wonderful blessings that we have. Our
Amber Glass Turkey Bowl is a perfect tradition for your holiday table and
is perfect for holding gravy or even great for a centerpiece with fall foliage
surrounding it. We still have a few
Pumpkin Rugs left in stock and these have been discontinued and won't last
long! Thanksgiving brings about great memories with the wonderful food, (that
we all eat to much of!) company and the handing down of traditions to our
families... So gather with your family & friends for a traditional savory meal
and make some memorable traditions to make this Thanksgiving one to be truly
grateful for! God Bless...

Here's what some of our customers are saying about us!!
It was a joy to open my boxes containing the pink glass cake stand &
the cranberry cake plate for two reasons: (1) the pieces are beautiful and
(2) since pink is my signature color, it was beautiful to see the delicate
business cards lying on top of the pink tissue paper which covered the pink
packing peanuts. I called my neighbor over to see the boxes as I opened
them. I told her I had never opened boxes so attractively packed.
Thank you again,
Shirley

Hi, Just to let you know that I received the Gingerbread House Night
Light yesterday and it is adorable! Thanks so much!
Thank you for the way you wrapped the beautiful cake plate. The pink
fillers was an extra added special touch which made opening the box even
more wonderful. This was a gift for me from my husband and as such, I was
touched and blessed. You did a fantastic job. Thank you again!
